The Same $125 Wherever You Sit

Rocket Lawyer lists registered agent service at $125 a year, and the amount does not shift with your membership tier. We found no promotional opening rate, which also means there is no renewal jump waiting for you.

That deserves saying clearly, because most pages like this one are built on a teaser. This one is not. If Rocket Lawyer quotes you $125, $125 is what recurs.

Consistency has a cost, though, and it is the same cost in every direction: $125 buys the identical statutory appointment $99 buys, and Florida does not read the invoice.

The Agent Is One Tile on a Bigger Dashboard

The real question is what else comes with it.

Rocket Lawyer is a legal subscription. Document templates, signatures, business forms, attorney consultations, and registered agent service among them. Buying the platform and then using the platform makes the agent line an inexpensive component of something larger.

Buying the platform in order to get an agent is a different transaction entirely. Florida's requirement is narrow: a named agent, a Florida street address that is the agent's actual business address, presence during normal business hours, and reliable delivery of whatever turns up. Contract templates do not touch any part of that.

There is an honest test for this. Open the vendor's feature list and cross off everything you would not use in the coming twelve months. If the agent line is the only thing still standing, you are paying a bundle price for one item, and a specialist will normally price that item lower. If half the list survives the exercise, the bundle is doing its job and you should keep it.

Whether that focus is a virtue depends entirely on what you came shopping for. If you wanted the templates and the attorney access, we are the wrong purchase, and we will say so rather than talk you out of something useful.

The narrowness cuts in both directions, and we would rather name it than bury it. We cannot draft your contracts and we cannot connect you to a lawyer. What we can do is hold a Florida address, be standing there when a process server turns up, and get the paperwork into your inbox the same day it lands.

One caveat we volunteer: BetterLegal's $90 beats our published rate. That puts us among the lowest in Florida, which is the accurate description.
